No Joke

No joke, for $10, I could go buy enough baking flower and rice to sustain my life for a month. Meanwhile, there are still people dying of hunger. I may have said this in an earlier post, but that didn't stop the world from turning

So many sustainable conversations and interactions lately (Bloom Box). Don't feel left out if your contribution isn't included today. I would not be where I am today without YOU.

Found an egg salad sandwich on class break. The credit goes to Stevy Yam (Fancy-Pants), who led me on a hut to pizza boxes. Funny how he said he didn't look in them because it was similar to a scratch off lottery ticket! They were empty, (i forgot to move them to a recycling depot as a good example of environmental stewardship in the dumpster diving community). But Fancy-Pants is a very quick learner and an observant human being (see the reference about the node-man), as we were moving the boxes around he noted the brown bagged lunch sack to check out, what a score- an unopened, untouched egg salad sandwich! Though I don't remember offering him his catch, he did just got done stuffing his face with a sub he bought with his consumer pocket.

A good class discussion today, led by Mr. Jason. "Green" was the topic. My thoughts are mostly irrelevant. On the surface, Material Possessions are goods and products that are unnecessary wants compared to needs. I imagine you can find tons of spiritual/ social background on the negativity of material possessions (Increasing Happiness ). It's just more stuff_green, healthy, natural, sustainable, still love your stuff.

My egotistical contribution to the class was the origin of the "green revolution" term. Then I pulled out my soap box and spoke about my Dad's tomatoes.

eating Bananas!, hot-dog buns, and found a chicken-ham baquet (not shown), a Pepsi, tortilla chip beef salad, egg salad sandwich, meatball sub, pizza, and bread sticks.
