ECHO 0

the design on the back of a tee shirt a workshop attendee was wearing today. thought of kelsi & leave it green design and of a tattoo I once saw

In airport to ECHO
farm Ft.Myers FL. my bag is full of food. dont know what the wastestream will be like!

I took some photos last night befor i made it home in SRU. found cheese crackers and a bag of cheezits. big deal about the cheezits, they were really just sitting on the recycling bin, so either someone forgot them, or someone left them for someone else ... me ... to finish them. Strange.

Ok i know the pics are side ways but look, one kid gets a banana for a pre-flight snack, while the other queen gets F-mcdonalds. There was an interesting F-mcd's situation on the flight as well. My seating neighbor comented on it before i said a word. 3 kids became unusually quiet when she notice the were unpacking f-happy meals. to eat it on the plane. i wish i got a pick of what they were doing w/ the food. they were so ... happy. good job parents for finding the cure.

Now I didn't pack anything for this trip, the cloths im wearing, shorts, an under shirt, and 4 random pairs of socks. the rest was food.

Today, Ft. Myers, FL, ECHO farms for a workshop on community health and lesser countries cultural barriers. we've only been networking so far. There are about 5 people here for MedSend http://www.medsend.org/. everyone i've met has been doing great things all around the world. We all have so much to learn from each other. Best moment was a thrilling chat about composting toilets.

Found food in Airport but didn't take it. Grey areas exist here at the farm. we have a community kitchen that is pretty much just open game for everyone ... exept me. There are things that have been laying around an collecting dust, and geting stale that will prolly never get eaten. I'll be face with some decisions soon. Ahgh.
