Pre-Game
Tombstone pizza, I ate the whole thing, knowing I should ration at least half of it out for later. Usually I see large quantities of food as a challenge, even when I purposely prepare a meal in bulk to last longer. Now I have one pizza left, and am lucky that the weather dropped to keep it frozen. Before going to the Sustainable Bowl party I collected a left over Big Mac, Sheets breakfast sausage bagel, sugar cookie, and a Pop-Tart.

Kens house for the game. He prepared one his turkeys that he raised and BBQ venison. It was a great home cooked event with many healthy and local goods. The new diet I’m on was a little confusing to the people who didn’t know about it. Without disclosing to much detail about the objective, I let Ken know that I couldn’t eat any of his food that night, or take home any of those leftovers. I did pull a morsel of bread from the evening waste, and missed an opportunity to clean up the empty ice cream tub. The leftovers of the night were first come first serve. I was able to send my share of food home with Kelsi. She won a bag of goodies.
Tea Time
Tea could be a means of my overall failure in this project. It is one of my weak-points. So there is little debate on this issue, Tea is ok. At the Sustainable Party, Cassendra led me into an introduction of the tea world and environmental/ human justice. In the future when I accept tea, there will be some minor questioning about awareness of the source.
Trade

Thanks to Kelsi, I was able to get rid of some of my food before it when bad. The interesting trade was my good PA Farmers Market red skin potatoes for her nasty old Giant Eagle potatoes. She also pawned off her expired hummus and moldy local Havarti cheese.
