Trees’in or Treason?

"So, why are Wayne and I plating trees on a western Pennsylvania campus when we live in a forest one may ask? Well how many times a day do you breath? A lot I presume. So yes I plant trees here at SRU because:
1) humanity thinks it ok to cut and plow the largest carbon sink forests in the world. Ok they might not think it’s alright but we all just follow along as it happens. If you haven’t caught on I’m talking about the rainforests of the world. Yeah you know those places that might hold the cure for diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s, . Why not cut them down when it took thousands of years for those trees to grow? I mean we can cut them down and plant a sugar cane or palm plantation instead.
B) The 2nd reason for planting trees is if anyone has ever attended or been to the Pennsylvania State University. You can’t walk 10 feet and not come across an Oak or Elm tree that has been growing for at least 100 years. It makes me sick to see the common area of SRU “the quad” and think it’s ok to have a few ornamental pear and cherry trees. How hard is it to get an Oak, native to the U.S. and Pennsylvania, and plant it? I’m pretty sure future posterity will be thankful we did.

Food: I have so much junk food right now, chips, cookies, candy.
Can you see the bag of goodies I got from the library? It is being displayed on the bench between kyle and jake. a few bags of chips, a cookie, PB&J, and some noodle salad. Can you see kyle found an ice-cream-less cone? It was tasty. There is a video of these two guys munching on these waste-stream snacks. Please be aware that this may be the first time jake has eaten food from the waste-stream.

I am getting waste-stream SOS calls. Amy hit notified me of a conference ending on campus and that the catering service was going to waste it. she sent an urgant TEXT message ... "Found waste treasure, residence hall F" including a pic which I included on the left.
Unfortunate that i was too late. she did bring me a waste-stream delivery, a veggie platter on the right. Thanks, but what about the children?
