Kelsi and I were busting out some ideas for a poster-board presentation representing the idea's and purpose of this blog. I guess my ideas were a little extravagant, she called my vision an Exhibit. Once she used that word my mind started rolling on the visual representation we could present. A main feature I want included is the face of poverty, meaning that I want a lifelike image of a child of famine. We thought of including a wall, or the perceptual representation of a dividing structure or social line between the haves and have-nots. Eventually the epiphany came, bringing food. Of course we would have food, showing resent scores and examples of what i eat, but we also thought to bring food to share. waste-stream food or maybe even food from a local market, just to have food. The ultimate idea so far is bringing rice!
Rice. When I say bring rice, I mean bring rice. A bag of rice, a cup of rice, a serving of rice. the value of the bag, the cup, the serving, the amount of rice I ate during my rice diet. the amount of rice for the value of things like bottled water or candy. Then, really the point would be that I have the choice to buy a bottle of water for 1.25 or feed 15 people. Maybe even a Pizza, like a ten dollar pizza and bring ten dollars worth of food that could last me a month.
Complicated? People are eating less.
wow what a video, I enjoyed watching it with a friend. Feelings.

"Ain't no Reson"
FOOD: Eating the muffins from yesterday's symposium trash and giving my self an unhealthy sugar rush with all the the reece's cups and air-heads i'm eating. gathered an unopen noodle salad mix dish, Turkey wrap, Cheese cubes, and some Lays chips. Craig hooked me up with some waste-stream bananas, a pear, cheese, and sauce.
The orange was perfect, by the way. Loving the B.Dennen video. It sends chills up my spine. I'm very excited about your waste-stream/food/rice "exhibit." Can't wait for pics and VIDEOS!! ;)
