Wha?

Featured: ... you got me ... somehow this reminded Bert ... of me. She picked it up at Slows BBQ in Detroit, check out their "green" review.

Eating leftover-leftovers again. Still eating fruit and cooked the last of the chicken wings. These wings were thrown away, pounds of them. I'm imagining chickens being 'grown' for some period of time in an industrial agriculture setting, living life like a king in a packed and unhealthy heaven. My pee smelled like buffalo wings all day. How many wings do I have to eat out of the trash to get to that point.

I didn't take any food with me to campus, and didn't really do much more that observing what was in the trash as I passed. On the way home I did pick up some french fried potatoes and a piece of pizza bread from one of the dining areas. (I was on the phone so didn't take a photo)

Cooked the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower with the chicken and chicken broth, all gathered before break. It was the last of the chicken and broth that Kelsi prepared for me. Also I sort of stir fried another batch for tomorrow.

the Leftovers

"The Leftovers is a road trip adventure about people who eat trash. Meet Mykel and Paul, two experienced Dumpster Divers as they embark on a Journey down the east coast of Australia. Wanting to make a statement about today's over consuming society they challenged themselves to live of nothing but waste. Leaving their money behind they power their van with waste veggie oil and eat out of bins along the way. They bring with them three brave apprentices. For the least experienced of the team - will their first adrenalin-pumping dive into dumpster living be remembered as the dawn of a new age; or the holiday from hell?"
