I'm full. I've been eating watermelon like mad. cooked the biscuits and some of the wings this morning. Then I took a quick trip to Findlay, and the Chips ahoy box was just tossed today. Later I stopped at a cookout and brought some of the chicken from Slippery Rock waste-stream. Cousin Tommy cooked it for me. when I got home from a late night, I had one of the prepared pre-packaged spicy chicken salads.

At Tommy's cookout (forgot to get a

good photo), I talked with a man who had had firsthand experience with the waste-stream from the grocery in Carey, Ohio. It is no different there, than in other groceries, things go to waste. The story was that some of the greens would get taken and go to feed chickens, then from chickens come eggs. This is a good diversion of the waste stream, and in the conversation we both agreed that the food was meant to serve people. It's good to hear some things make sense, some things don't.
