Left Over leftovers

Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Eating the leftovers from the 1001 CChip cake and wraps from yesterday. Today’s nutrition came mostly from waste, aside from vitamins and tea. This is the first day that I’m confident that this happened, and it is looking like the next few weeks will easily follow suit. The problem is going to be this, that I have to much food, and need someone to share it with. Also, by accepting gifts or hand outs, I feel that the experiment would be compromised. So I am loosely creating a rule: No handouts.

The Calling
A friend, Dan asked of my services, he was hungry. In the context of hunger, he could have survived the rest of the day without eating. Regardless, I was able to scrounge up some corn pops and a large cup of mixed fruit. Digging is important, and try not to overlook bags of chips. In times of famine, keep your belly full of water to trick it from being hungry (something I picked up from a friend).

“God Has not left us to beg”
Kyle has mentioned this phrase during a few of our adventures. He is referencing the Sermon on the Mount, were the Christ Child shares that God will provide for the Birds & won’t he provide for you? Don’t worry, be happy.
